Located in Uniondale, Nassau Coliseum is best-known for the New York Islanders, a National Hockey League team. However, there are other events that take place here. It occupies 63 acres at the site of a former Army and Air Force base. The location is great, just outside of New York City and a quick drive with a passenger rental van.

The Coliseum is currently home to the New York Islanders as well as the New York Dragons, a football team. The site used to house the National Lacrosse League until the team became inactive in 2004.
