- There are eight operating terminals at John F. Kennedy International Airport, as well as 30 miles of roadway.

The
Central Terminal Area (CTA) consists of nine airline passenger terminals number
1 through 9. A one mile circular roadway provides New York Van Rental customers
with access to the front of the building. - Airport signage is relatively straight forward thanks to bright color-coding and bolded writing. Colors to watch for include Green (Terminals 1, 2, 3), Blue (Terminal 4), Yellow (Terminals 5, 6), Orange (Terminal 7) and Red (Terminals 8, 9).
- If you begin to feel overwhelmed at any point during your upcoming trip to JFK International, please feel free to stop any one of the multilingual Customer Service Representatives roaming the terminals. These volunteers can be distinguished by their red jacket and friendly smile.
There
are currently five ways to travel between terminals at John F. Kennedy
International Airport, four of which are absolutely free. If you're in a hurry
during your visit to JFK, Image New York Full Size Van Rentals recommends
hailing any one of the on-demand taxis that line the arrival and depart terminal
gates. Approximately travel time in a taxi between any two terminals ranges from
5 to 15 minutes and will cost you anywhere between $3 and $10. Another great
option is catching a ride on the newly completed AirTran system, which connects
all nine of the airport terminals quickly and efficiently. Free for all
terminal-to-terminal travelers, the AirTran takes approximately 8 minutes to
travel the entire terminal system. AirTran trains run every 2 to 4 minutes
during peak hourse (6am to 11pm) and every 8 minutes between 11pm and 6am. Large
groups of New York Van Rental customers can also take advantage of airline
requested Autolink buses as well as Group Buses. Contact you're airline for more
information about the availability of these buses. If you've got the time to
spare during your upcoming visit to JFK International you can also opt to walk
between a few of the terminals including Terminals 2 and 3 which are connected
by an enclosed, elevated pedestrian walkway, and Terminals 8 and 9 which are
connected by an interior concourse and ground level sidewalk.
Parking
at JFK
There are currently two different types of New York Van Rental parking at JFK ? Long-Term and Daily. Long Term New York Van Rental parking can be found at Lefferts Boulevard, approximately 4 miles from the terminal as well as outside each of the terminals nine terminals (watch for the previously mentioned color-coded signs). The cost for parking in long term is $15 for the first 24 hours and $5 more for each 8 hour period thereafter. Daily New York Van Rental parking is located in the Central Terminal Area as well as in most of the color-coded lots. Fees for Daily parking at John F. Kennedy International Airport are $3 for the first half hour, $6 for up to one hour and $3 for each hour thereafter up to a maximum of $30 for each 24 hour period. There are also a limited number of reserved parking spaces for customers with disabilities outside each terminal.

Cómo llegar por carretera
El aeropuerto JFK está situado en la Autopista Van Wyck Expressway (678), accesible desde la carretera de circunvalación 27, la Grand Central Parkway y Queens Boulevard. Hay aparcamientos para estancias cortas y largas. El aparcamiento para estancias largas está aproximadamente a unos 6 km. de las terminales. Hay autobuses gratuitos que paran cada 10-15 minutos enfrente de las terminales y llevan a la explanada de aparcamiento para estancias largas y a la estación de metro Howard Beach.
