The Yank's would prove unstoppable for nearly 15 years after the McCarthy era, winning thirteen titles between 1950 and 1964. It wasn't until 1965 that the team would finally sink into mediocrity, going 12 years without a World Series win.

Today the New York Yankees continue to withhold their historic greatness, winning World Series titles in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000.
