It has already been made official; NYC will host the New Era Pinstripe Bowl this year on 30th December, 2010. The venue for the event is the Yankee Stadium. This unique contest will mark the first ever NCAA football bowl at the Bronx ever since the Gotham Bowl that took place in December, 1962 where Nebraska had edged Miami out at 36-34 at the earlier Yankee Stadium. The excitement returns to NYC this year when the Pinstripe Bowl will feature the Syracuse Orange of Big East Conference and Kansas State Wildcats, the Big 12 Conference. The event is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 PM on 30th December. This televised event is all set to be aired nationally on ESPN and the local and national radio rights are with ESPN radio.
