History

First Floor Balcony

First Floor

Women can visit "La Perfumerie" and men can go to "The Boardroom" to discover some of the most exclusive fragrances. Specialized consultants at Bloomingdale's "Beauty at Your Service" are also available to assist you with your cosmetic and fragrance shopping. On this floor you will also find designer handbags, an information booth, jewelry (David Yurman), fashion accessories and more. If you enter the store on the 3rd Avenue side you will see the Swatch display and the men's section (shirts, ties, etc).
Second to Fourth Floors
Take the elevators upstairs and explore this gigantic department store. On the 2nd to 4th floors you will find a wide variety of designer clothing for women such as DKNY, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and all your other favorite designers. On the 4th floor you will find a designer shoe salon as well as a fur salon (Maximilian). There is also a lingerie section.
Fifth to Seventh Floors
Here you will find a collection of furniture, mattresses and home décor. A great selection of china, crystal, cookware, luggage, and bedding can also be found. If you are hungry, take a break at the McDonalds located on the 7th floor before heading off in your New York car rental.
Eighth and Ninth Floor
These floors house the children's department. On the 8th floor you will find fashions for infants, toddlers and young girls. There is also a toy department where you can get "Bloomie's Barbie" made especially for Bloomingdales by Mattel. The boy's section is located on the 9th floor. You can access this from a circular stairway that features a suspended sailboat.
Lower Level
Before heading elsewhere in your New York car rental, don't forget to visit the store's large men's section. Right here at Bloomingdales, men can find everything they need under one roof. There are all sorts of suits that range from designer to Bloomingdale's own label. Casual and sportswear brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren can also be found.
