After perceiving a serious need for a local car rental operation, The Founder of Image Rent A Car, purchased and began renting 3 used cars in the Brooklyn, NY area. His intent was to provide a dependable and affordable alternative for local renters who were fed up with renting from major rental corporations at inconvenient airport locations. The Founder knew that if he focused on such important details as providing quality cars, affordable prices and excellent customer service, he would receive support from his community and flourish in the independent auto rental industry.

And so in 1993 The Founder officially opened up the doors to Image Rent A Car with the objective of giving people in his community the benefit of an excellent car rental location, dedicated to meeting its clients' needs and exceeding their expectations. The first location was set up in Brooklyn, NY at 391 Empire Blvd where The Founder and his wife began with a small fleet of used economy cars. With lots of hard work and an unwavering desire to provide customers with the best rental experience possible, Image Rent A Car rapidly earned respect and appreciation from all its clients.

After continued growth and success in the economy market, in 2004 The Founder took it upon himself to fill yet another void in the New York auto rental market, and began offering customers luxury and exotic vehicles. With its service oriented perspective, Image Rent A Car helped build a vibrant and expanding luxury rental market in the New York area. Yet again, The Founder and his team at Image Rent A Car had proven their dedication to their clientele by responding to their demands and going above and beyond the level of service offered by other auto rental companies.
