Greenwich Village, or the Village, is a largely residential neighborhood on the west side of downtown Manhattan. The neighborhood is bordered by Broadway on the east, the Hudson River of the west, Houston Street on the south, and 14th Street on the north. It is very close to the East Village, SoHo, and Chelsea.
